What Are Executive Function Skills?
Executive function skills are the mental processes that enable us to plan, focus our attention, remember, and juggle multiple tasks.
Oftentimes people with ADHD or other neurodiversities experience challenges with their executive function skills. This can lead to struggles at school, work and home. We can even see links between weak executive functioning and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, as people try to understand why seemingly "simple tasks” are harder for them than for others.
This is where coaching comes in to make all the difference!
